All about
Sea Monster
We draw inspiration from the mythical sea monsters of ancient lore.
We embrace the spirit of those daring individuals who braved the uncharted waters to discover new realms. As ambassadors of the enigmatic sea monster, we endeavour to work with our clients and partners to push boundaries, embark on adventurous journeys, and uncover the mysteries that lie beneath the surface.
Founded by Glenn Gillis and Wynand (Munki) Groenewald in 2011, the roots of Sea Monster stem from a love for animation, storytelling and immersive technologies. Over the years, we have honed our craft and shifted our focus to impact games. We now dedicate ourselves to creating meaningful digital experiences for our clients that connect people, build brands, challenge perceptions, and inspire shifts in behaviour.
Since 2011, we have built over 80+ impact games, 40+ AR and VR solutions and multiple gamified products. Beyond our service work, we have also built out several of our own products including the playable advertising solution, Hailr.
Sea Monster is a vibrant bunch of passionate professionals who all strongly believe in the power of games.
Sea Monster has an experienced and skilled team of 40 full time staff and a network of specialist suppliers and partners. Together, our team of thinkers, creators, and problem solvers deliver world class creative and production services.
