Sea Monster created an interactive digital experience to connect younger audiences with D-Day's historical significance.

Merging interactive storytelling with historical narratives, players act as modern-day investigators in the game, exploring their grandfather's wartime letters to reveal untold stories of bravery and allied cooperation.

Craft an immersive experience to engage young adults around the real stories of D-Day.

The US Embassy in the UK identified a growing disconnect between young people and the historical significance of the events of WWII. In advance of the 80th anniversary of D-Day in 2024, there was a pressing need to find a way to make this history relavent and accessible and to bring some of the untold stories of D-Day to life to ensure the legacy of this pivotal event was not forgotten.

Explore and inspect old war correspondence to uncover the truth.

We designed an interactive, detective-style game to take users on a personal journey of discovery through history which highlights the cooperation and diplomacy between the allied US and UK forces.

Crafted from carefully curated and adapted AI-enabled art and visuals, the interactive experience positions users in the role of a curious detective, exploring their grandfather's old war correspondences to uncover the truth about a long-lost war buddy. By framing the experience around a modern-day protagonist who must investigate their own family history, the game establishes a personal connection between users and the stories of WWII and also fuels the experience with emotional depth to make it more engaging and impactful for players.
